Just got Big ears....Should have done it years ago. Had the disposables but if the happen to pop out at all they catch the wind and make it louder.

I've been using ear plugs for so long I don't remember the brand. They're made of soft rubber or vinyl and are washable, paid about $5 for them. I also learned that a slight coat of saliva forms a perfect seal. Provides a very different riding experience, particularly when you're going for 8 hours or more.

Get some custom molded plugs just for your ears. Sure they cost more but you spent $20,000.00 on a motorcycle why not a few more on a good set of ear plugs. Now that that is out of the way. Why the hell does anyone need earplugs when they are riding their Harley. It is just not natural. I will never understand it. No matter how many reasons are given. I guess some people just have oversensitive hearing. Huh? What did you say. I can't hear you.

I use some custom molded ones that I got a few years ago for trap shooting. They're supposed to let you hear voices but block out harmful sounds. I can wear them for hours with absolutely no discomfort. Get some custom molded ones and you'll never go back to the cheap foam ones.

I keep disposables in my tour pack, don't use them much but they are there when I need them.

Well I used to think the same way and after many years of riding and the wind beating on my ears kind of changed my outlook. Wait until your ears start ringing when you wake in the morning. Bet you will have a different perspective on this issue.
