I had my '08 for less then a week before I changed out the shocks ( 32" inseam ). Made a world of difference. I have to admit it has taken me a long time to get to the point where I feel relaxed when cornering this beast, the weight difference compared to my last bike is dramatic. Adding a backrest also allowed me to use my whole body when I corner, that was another big step in the right direction. Next change will be some pull back bars, I really miss the old buck horns on my last bike, but some 2" pull back should do the trick!

Enjoy, they are GREAT bikes!

Besides the lowprofile rear, I lowered the front at the same time before delivery. I have a 30" inseam. lets me flatfoot it and I love the way it handles. Have test ridden both the older and newer with stock suspensions and you can tell they are a little more top heavy after you have ridden one that is completely lowered.

If you like the rear lower, do the front also you will like it more...
