Only a small issue with the EZ-Extended Shifter...
If you have the 1" extended floorboard mounts, you have to slide your foot over towards the engine to shift.
I reversed my shifter arm and it helped some but I wish it was out another 1".
I know, can't have everything perfect....
I noticed this too after I installed the EZ shift levers. I fixed the problem by buying a couple of 1" chrome spacers and long stainless steel screws that would go through the shift pegs, spacers, and thread into the levers. Problem cured! And it looks like it was made to be that way.

Ditto. Great minds think alike. I had two spacers made and chromed. Works like a champ and looks good too.
One thing I forgot to add, there may be a problem on the 09 models with the EZ Brake hitting the lowers if the vent is in the open position. When I wrote to them they acknowledged they've seen it, but it doesn't seem to happen on all bikes. Prolly how the lowers are mounted. I usually take them off in the summer anyways, so it's no biggie to me, but it may matter to some.
well, after looking at everyone's pics and comments i think i'm going to get the e-z brake and shifter. thanks to everyone for your help.
If your going with the EZ brake. Check out the dealer on ebay. Brand new shipped from EZ brake You won't find a better price. Very pleased with my purchase from him.

If you have a pre '09 bike yes, if not you have to go through EZ Brake out of Florida...
just a quick up date. got the ez brake and shifter yesterday and i had them installed today. definitely more comfort on the floorboards. i just gotta get used to the relocation of the shifter and brake pedal. once again, thanks for everyone's help.
I have an 08 SG with V&H true duals. It looks like I will have to remove the right side exhaust to change the brake pedal. Has anyone actually done this with an 08 with V&H true duals? It's not that big of a deal to remove exhaust, it will take longer to drive to the dealer to get a new gasket than it will to change out the pedal, but I was just wondering for sure. It looks close if the brake lever will come off with the header in place or not.

It's tight with the stock system, not sure about the true duals though.....
Regarding the extended shifter pad, I had to get a cap screw bolt machined down(the head area) so it would fit flush with my shifter pad after I put in a 3/4" spacer. I didn't want a bolt head sticking out of the pad.
