I have the E-Z Brake and the matching Extended Shift Lever. I've never used the softbrake but I love the E-Z Brake.

+1 on the e-z brake. Change the whole feel of the brake pedal so I wasn't having to lift the whole foot to get a good angle on the brake pedal. I use a different extended shift lever on teh other side from walter's workshop.

I opted for the SoftBrake version and if I had it to do again, I would probably try the EZ brake this time around. I may be mistaken, but it seemed to me that the Softbrake was merely re-clocked rather than extended. Just my .02

Made this copy of an EZ Brake a few years back. Love it.

I have both the EZ Brake and EZ Shift levers, and feel they are a must have option. The brake is in a much better position, and the shifters allow me to place my size 14 boots in a natural position.

Only a small issue with the EZ-Extended Shifter...

If you have the 1" extended floorboard mounts, you have to slide your foot over towards the engine to shift.

I reversed my shifter arm and it helped some but I wish it was out another 1".

I know, can't have everything perfect....

Sounds like you need to design an extension for the shifter peg to move it out an inch.
