I have been using it for my iPod, iPhone, GPS and Sirius Radio, (sometimes two at a time). No problems so far.

2008 Ultra Cig Lighter Outlet has blown fuses in GPS and Cell Phone Charger.
I can plug in port air compressor and not blow fuse. So baffled here.

I didn't even know I had a lighter until I was taking the outter fairing off to install my fairing antenna. Makes me want to try a cigar.

That does seem odd. The start up amperage on the compressor has to be much higher than a piece of electronics, right?

I've been running a xm radio on my bike for over two years, and never had a problem with blown fuses.

I've charged my phone, run my GPS, and plugged my iPod into mine and haven't had an issue.

It is blowing the protective fuse (1 A) in Cell Phone Plug-In which plugs into
lighter outlet not the MC fuse. Also did this on protective fuse for GPS. I figure if their
was a short the Air Compressor wouldn't work.
PS Lighter works fine.
