Default exhaust systems

I have recently purchased a 08 street glide. I am looking to install a new exhaust system. Would like advice on which system is best, and also what else I need to do in regards to the fuel system.

Rinehart true duals I can't say enough good things about them. I also love the way they sound.

cant say what is best..its personal opinion. i have vance and hines headers with reinhart mufflers. i like it, u might not. need to do nothing to the fuel system as long as u dont touch your air cleaner. if u replace the a/c then you need to get a pc or whatever u want to have installed.

You've got some reading ahead of you! I'm happy with my Supertrapp 2:1 and Teclusion. Sounds better, pulls harder and runs cooler.

OMG...This is gonna be a long thread! Best thing ya can do is go find where the local bikes hang out and start listening to their set ups! Only then will you find the right choice for you!

I have Vance and Hines Monster Ovals and couldn't love them more! Going True Dual headers by the end of the month. I've heard this set-up and love it! I'll stick with My MO's! As I stated in a post just abit ago... it give the right sound (low distinct rumble) that alot of us look for but not so loud it detracts from the ride, your tunes and such!

Ride Safe, Choose Wisely! Mike

While I don't have one on my bike, the best souding exhaust I've ever heard is the Thunderheader.

Default Vance&Hines or Rinehart True Duals

Right now I am running Rinehart true duals, not only do they sound
good, but they are tops for improving performance.
