Are we ever really "Done"?
I can honestly say that all the mods I have done to my Ultra to date have made it the most perfect bike I have ever owned. Its comfortable, makes good power, sounds great, and I love they way it looks.
By all rights, I ought to be able to stop right where I am with it and be perfectly content. "Ought" to able to do that. Ummmm why cant I do that?
Every post I read starts the lust anew, a new bit of chrome here, A paint job there, an engine mod, a cam thread.......I cant stop. Thank God I'm not married or it would surely be grounds for divorce.

I used to think that they could be done and on my Sporty and Deluxe I pretty much was. But this 09 SG just keeps begging for more parts, the more I give her the more she wants (kind of like a woman).

It's a sickness really...
I have thought I was DONE several times and then something else catches my eye. I remember telling myself I was going to keep the exhaust system stock.. Pffft, that was 3 sets of slip ons and new headers ago. Thought well, I'll just do this stage 1 and go for the download... Wrong, now have new cams, super tuner & several hours on the Dyno..
Tired to talk myself into not liking a lot of chrome on my bike... Uh, that didn't work out to well either.. Mostly, I blame all of you guys LOL. Every time I come on here I see something I want that I didn't know about... BTW... Just installed the chrome hinges for the tour pak & the look awesome!!
