Leather tour pak lock questions
I see that the flamed leather tour pak requires the lock because it has no straps. Does this lock install from the side, like in the super-expensive CVO version?
And if so, is it possible to install the same lock in a similar fashion in the other leather tour paks (I just bought a standard leather tour pak on eBay and want to lock it)?
Finally, can anyone describe how this particular lock works?
I've seen two other locking systems for the leather tour pak, one involving a hook-and-catch setup and the other involving a metal strip that goes down into the lock. I'm not sure if there's a good reason to spend the extra money on the Harley lock.
