Default arc amp owners

What wire or color wire are you connecting the remote wire of the amp to so the amp turns on when you turn the stereo on. I have had the bike on and off testing various wires with a test light and I get several lighting up. Does the amp stay on all the time when the bike is running even if the stereo is off.

The blue wire is connected to the cig lighter, the amp only comes on with the key switch.

you could also use your aux switch too... there are many ways to do it... cig lighter is one, also, as someone else has suggested... in my how-to thread, i think i indicate which wire i used for acc. off the factory radio harness....

Default Remote wire

I connected the remote power turn-on to the cig. lighter. As mentioned above, amp turns on with the key. Seemed the simplest connection point, as I couldn't find the black-blue power lead in my wiring harness.

+1...for the average person doing this work...the blue wire is usually the easiest to find. Altho I know Gtsdesigns has the experience and definitely knows how to wire for sure! Do a search and check out his installations!

Good Luck and ride safe, Mike

Thanks you guys for responding. I'll check in to all these options, I get a little impatient and want to get this system going but want to do it right also. I have some extra speakers that I want to put in the lowers and they are a 3ohm speaker and the uppers are 4 ohm I hope thats not a problem.
