Scissor How Common
Scissor on the lower end of the fly wheel crank. Iv'e read it can happen from starting the bike in gear. Stopping hard with out pulling the clutch in to avoid an accident. Hand slipping off clutch while holding brake on. Building upper end 96 to103 or 110 with stock lower end. What are the signs when the crank sissors.

I personally would not build a motor again without having Darkhorse rework the crank along with the Timken bearing conversion. Others, as I'm sure you will hear haven't had any issues but I work my motor pretty hard and this gives me piece of mind. I've had no issues since I did the bottom end rebuild 2 years ago.
