I bought the 13 in shocks so that if they ever failed I could still ride home without rubbing the back tire. I could of used the 12 in also but did not want to take the chance if there ever was a failure. I can lower mine when I need to back up or get better traction with my feet. Can ride slammed or raised or anywhere between. Cost is about $600 and put it on youself. Took 2 hours the first time. I could do one now in about 45 min. System is great
where do i get it for 600... i dnt mind putting it on myself

I have the Arnott system with bags on my SG. I would recommend getting the air pressure gauge. I know to pump mine up for 5-6 seconds and it will be a good ride. This past week I had the trunk on and loaded down for a road trip and pumped them up for 8-9 seconds and the bike rode the best it ever has.

My only complaint. About 8 months ago I was losing air pressure. I did the old soap and water trick to find the leak and it was at the top of a shock so I called Arnott. They told me the rubber seals will dry up a little and advised me to put some vasoline on the top of the stem and pump the shocks up and let them down. The vasoline would get the seals back in working order which it did but I really think this should be handled by either using a different O-ring so you don't have to do this. They were friendly though and are always more than happy to answer questions so I still recommend them.

Go to arnottairsuspenson.com. Pick the type of bike you have and see the options. They had a sail going around xmas when I bought mine. Kits do not come with upgraded switch or guage. Some have not bought the upgraded switch and put one down by their leg. I like the guage. Single rider I pump up to 80lbs for stiff ride in the twisties. 2up I go to 90lbs. Real soft ride at 65lbs. Any questions call them they are great.

I have the Arnotts on my V Rod. They have the best customer service of any aftermarket company I have delt with. Wanted lower bump stops, they took care of it free (2 day turnaround) had a problem with the air line fittings (user error) they sent me 3 new ones no charge. Outsanding company to deal with.

I am short 5'6" had them put om my '09 UC and I love them, I have the switch on my left handlebar, I can drop the pressure and lower the bike around town so I can sit better at stops, then when I hit the road I can put as much air as needed to get height and ride comfort I want.
