For me it's more about the heat than it is looks or power. I have seen plenty of positive comments about the Fullsac conversion so I am going to go for it. I wouldn't mind seeing the dyno results if you have them though. I will probably change to V&H later on but now it's more about the cost.

Check dyno results of V&H versus Fullsac conversion....
Remember you can put lipstick on a pig, but.......
I also put the fulsac kit on my '04. Luckily for me, I found a member here
that had bought a newer bike or something....and I bought my kit for 70 bucks.
It was not a 'hacksaw' job. Installed smoothly and I guess the heat shields
could be a bit better, it doesn't look bad.
I did not notice much performance or noise increase.....until I added the mufflers that they rework. I got the 1.75" ones......I noticed more pep and torque, WITHOUT aircleaner or ECM upgrade. The G/friend said the sound while riding was 'annoying'......I of course said she 'was annoying.' and soon removed the mufflers and moved off the couch. The fullsac still gets me positive comments and I kept the altered mufflers in case I find a new g/friend......or a better couch.
I have the FullSac on my '08 had it dyno tuned and while the torque numbers are less then a 2 - 1 or even a 2-1-2, that is going to be true of ANY TD system. I am very pleased with the heat reduction and the sound, plus not one person has commented negatively on the look. I did however find that J & P has long sections of SS heat shield for around $100.00. I may order one of those and replace the two pieces I have now, well once all my other projects are done, lol.
To the poster commenting on the dyno sheets, I would also like to see them. Oh and no Hacksaw was required!
For those of you who have used the fulsac conversion with your stock mufflers, are you happy with the sound? I have heard that the stock mufflers are packed differently to increase the back pressure on the left side and that this will make your exhaust sound strange once you are using any true dual system with stock mufflers.
I had went with Samson. The left side just didnt work. Samson didnt care - so much for customer service.
However since I had the fulsac kit I was able to use it on the left side and the Samson pipe on the right. Since I needed a full heat shield and didnt like the cut and paste type.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
I had already switched to the SE touring mufflers which are the same left to right. You would not want to run stock mufflers with any TD solution.
The fullsac does exactly what it says it does. Gives you the dual look, eliminates the heat and is real cost effective. Even though I replaced the fullsac and python 3 mufflers with Rinehart true duals (thanks honey) I still think it's a great option. Now that i'm finally back home i have got to get into the garage and dig up the ol' fullsac and Pythons and get them up for sale.
I might be interested in this depending on what you want for them. Let me know. I'm still tearing down my bike for some tranny work so I have some time here I'm not in a huge rush except for the fact that the weather is getting nicer finally and I can't ride until I get it fixed.

I recently installed B&E Performance's Super flow mufflers and tru-dual combo . $ 355 shipped to my door . I got the 1.75's with the slash down cut . They sound great . The bike has that " Harley sound " I was looking for . Have a little bark when you get on it and are not loud when cruising . I feel the bike runs stronger . I feel that the low end torque is better and the mid range is better too . But that is just my seat of the pants feel . I only have the O2 IED's for AFR control nothing else .
It fit my budget , and looks good and sounds good !
