I love my MO's. At first i thought they were not loud enough, but after a couple of rides i have changed my mind. After a nice ride, i no longer have headaches and i can hear my radio clearly. Still has a nice rumble without being too loud.
I loved my big shots on my Deluxe, but never road without earplugs to avoid the headache. no chance of hearing a radio with the big shots.
looks great + sounds great = must be great..
good luck
Dave
They seem so quiet in the video clip and the sound clip on V&H's site, almost like stock with a different tone. How do they compare to a Rush 2" (had those on my Deluxe) or SE Touring (rented an SG with these on it)?

I just went to the V&H site and it looks different that the one I went to a while back.
There is NO WAY you can tell what they sound like on a clip. Find some in person and judge for yourself. I have them, and of course I think they sound great. Just my opinion and everyone else has their own.
yeah at idle or just a few twists dont quite do it justice...what i like is the sound at speeds and when you twist the throttle hard it does get alot louder...it will keep the PO off your back and your neighbors wont hate you but its louder than Screaming eagles, but not as loud as jackpots or some of the other slip ons....but to me has a great sound...
+1 to this statement! they are designed to be 3-4 decibels over stock. But it's not the loudness they claim...its the deep rumble that goes thru you! It turns heads but not in an offensive manner. Since it's sounds signature isn't that loud rapping so many other pipes have...LEOs rarely take notice in a bad way!
I AGREE! I had the V&H longshots and wore ear plugs most of the time on longer rides because the sound would give me a pounding head ache. I can go on much longer rides with the MOs. As my wife has said, "maybe all those guys with annoying pipes are trying to make up for something" Just a thought...LOL
Just ordered from these guys on ebay. Made offer of $570 shipped and had them at the door in less than a week. Can't give a review yet since I cant put them on till i get back in country. But I cant wait....
Does anyone have video or a sound clip of Monster Ovals on a stock, or stage 1 96" touring bike? I really like the look of them but at $600 or $700 these have to sound killer to make it worth 2x the price of the Jackpot dyno tuned's. I want a deep, V8-ish sound to my bike but not loud (except when the throttle is cracked open).
