the rear signal is sticking and staying on.
i have narrowed the problem to the small plug located in the tail light. can the wire be cut and the plug replaced without replacing the entire wiring for that signal? ...or is there another solution?
You can remove the plug from the circuit board socket using a pick tool, stiff wire, etc. Just depress the tab(?) on the top of the plug/connector and pull it out. You should be able to test the contacts in the circuit board to see if your problem is the circuit board or the plug/connector/tail light wiring.
thanks, i narrowed it to the wiring connection inside the small plug in the tail light. now i just have to figure out how to either replace the plug or the entire wire for the turn signal on that side.
