Default Turn signal wiring connector plug

I am installing new bars on an 06' Fatboy with internal wiring and was wondering if anyone has an idea about pulling the wires out of this connector plug for the turn signals? The other plugs were straight forward, this one has me pulling my hair out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....Tony

Very easy, remove, rather pry, the "orange" end off with a small screwdriver. Inside the plug you will see little tabs at the base of each socket end, pry them back and pull the wire through the connector. Don't forget to reinstall the rubber grommet in the back of the connector beforere-installing the wires. Make sue to write yourself a diagram of the color codes too.

The one you mention is not the turn signal plug. It is flat style, black, with 6 wires, inline, three from each turn signal. You are right though the other one was simple. thanks...

Hmm, I have an 05 night train, so mine must be different. I only had the bigger square 6 socket plugs, one from each control. The only other connectors I have dealt with were a pain untill you got the hang of them, On the side that plugs in, see if there is a small slot by the pin/socket. Use a pin or something small, slide it in the slot and try to pry away from the terminal, moving the plastic, not the pin. Pull the wire slightly while prying if you get the right spot, it should come out. Once you have done this succesfully a couple of times it becomes easy. Hope this is the type connector you have? Good luck!

This may help, even if your socket does not look like this (mine didn't)
And my wire came out the back side. same principle.

Monkey, it is different from the link you gave, however I ran out and tried your pin metod and got them out. I just needed to fish around in there a lttle. There must be a tab holding the wire end in the plug. Thanks for the advise....Tony

I found some good info believe it or not in the svc manual on the different connectors. There is a whole section devoted to them.
