While I don't approve of discrimination against motorcycles...and I don't want to get into a pi$$ing contest....and everyone has the freedom to do as they wish......But
We've done this to ourselves....obnoxious loud exhaust, sitting at red lights revving the bike, roaring away from stops, burnouts, too much of a good thing...people are getting tired of all this, and now we're paying the price....
Do I like it, NO....but that's the hard truth.
Now I'm sure a lot are going to log on and say I'm wrong, and I wish I was...but the proof is in the lack of more and more Hotels and places wanting motorcycles....

I don't think that way... Some may ... But I just don't. Mostly because I certainly don't behave like that. I find although there are the minority who sarcastically rev their engines or burn off their tires to go get some juvenile attention ... I find motorcyclists, at least for the most part, very considerate when riding on the roadway.
I find there is a much higher percentage of cagers out their that are down right deadly and often drive as if they have every intent to 'own' the road .... You NEVER hear THAT about motorcyclists.
Huh, I'm a Native Cracker. In my fifty years of riding in Florida I've never encountered this.
To add more insult to injury, we actually ended up riding back to South Beach Miami, in the middle of night with another group of bikers who found exactly the same thing happening. I tell you true!
I'm not saying you didnt see what you saw but I live here and don't think i have ever been in a more biker friendly state. Everyone is fighting for the biker business here. They love us. Especially the hotels and restaurants (and bars).

Bikergirl, I don't behave like that either, but as the saying goes, one bad apple....
As for cars...they're not as easy a target as we are....lot easier to blame the motorcycles for all their ills....
Man, some of y'all are uptight enough to **** a diamond after eating a lump of coal. Y'all act like this is something new..."we brought it on ourselves", "it's the folks with loud pipes", blah blah blah.
This ***** been happening since folks have been throwin a leg over two wheels, hell, it's better than it's ever been. I reckon some of y'all that have only been riding for a few years might not remember the cops harassing folks just cause they're on a scoot...being refused a hotel cause your on a bike...no cage, no service.
It has nothing to do with loud pipes, pipes are just and excuse. Folks will always dislike folks that are different than them, have a different outlook on things or just don't fit in with the norm.
Just got back from MB, did a weekend and saw what everyone is saying, true true true. the fact the the State Troopers were out on BMWS and the Local MB Police had Hondas... why? their harleys couldn;t pass the laws the enacted!!!!.
Shame all this was voted on and enacted before the economical downturn and now Property taxes a re going up
