Clutch Cable Question

I just installed the sweeper+2's on my 07. When rerunning the clutch cable, I went to the inside of the crash bar due to this problem in the pics below. The deflector seems to have rubbed the old clutch cable. I have no problems other than at full lock to the one side it hits the rubber bumper. Anyone have a recommendation? Thanks.

From the factory it should have been on the inside of the engine guard as you now put it. As you can see from the pic below that's how mine is.

i used a couple black zip ties and held cable away from the bumper,,,,,, bike locks properly now!!you need to pull it toward the tank( neck area on my bike has a chrome cover , so finding where to tie to was easy)
