I have an 03 flh that had a knock . I took off the cam cover and found parts laying there . looks like a tensioner part but not the one that is readily visable . what do i need to do to remove the assembly to replace that part . what is it called ?
There is this book you can buy. It's called the Service Manual. It shows you how to take the bike down to the frame and start over.
He is the guy in question, first post..............
ORIGINAL: bumpgrind
dont know if youve made a choice yet but my experience with reinharts {bubs] was poor . they are on the shelf in my shop . i replaced them with the bassani true dual power curve and sampson straight shots with reduction cones . 95 kit , andrews cams , zipper performance heads and a stack of bald rear tires . i dont run with a radio , i like to hear the motor and not hit deer .
Does this sound like someone who wouldn't know what a cam tensioner shoe is?
Well it is kind of a hopelessly broad question ("I have this part in my motor, not sure what it is or what its called...anyways, how do I replace that part?")
