I use an iPod touch. I could not find a mount either. What I did was put velcro on the back of my iPod and on the (don't know what it's called) little removable plate at the center of the handle bars. I also have wired to that plate, a hook up to my chromed Kuryakyn speakers. Works perfect!
I have the touch mounted on a plastic handlebar mount. $15 bucks at Bile Week in MB... no issues and it also would hold a cell phone or PDa.. Anything with a Belt Clip
Barefoot ******* makes one for $14.95 if it's anything like his cupholders your golden .
Sounds like some of you guys should try the Ipod touch before you say that it won't work.
subvetmmcs, I've had an Ipod Touch on my left handlebar for months. No skipping, or whatever these guys think it does. Anyway, do a Google search for RAM Mounts. I got one from them for about 18 bucks & it's great. Again, not 1 problem with Ipod Touch on the handlebar. I have an EG Classic & plug the Ipod into the fairing, with a 12" cord from Radio Shack.
Ive been using a apple i pod touch on my Heritage using a Harley tank pouch and it works great. The magnet on the tank pouch dosent bother the i touch. I am going to order a Leader i pod touch mount that mounts to the clutch lever brkt or front brake lever. It will put the i pod touch at a better user position. Either tank pouch or lever mount should work fine. Im also ordering a batt. power cable for the i pod touch from the same co. Im ordering the lever mount and batt. power cable from( Leader )1 800 828 0844
I dont know what the issue here is. Go to ridersclaw.com, my son gave me one for my touch and it mounts on the switch housing bolt and plugs into the radio head (cables included). I made a 500 song playlist and road for 10 days in 110 heat, put it on shuffle and it was 4 days before I heard a repeat song. I didnt even listen to my xm. They make one to fit just about everything.
