Glad your OK, good job staying up. I hit a roll of roofing paper a few years back when I changed lanes under an overpass and when the back tire hit it bucked me off ( it was in a box that appeared empty and I had no place to swerve). I've had trucking companies try to tell me that things falling off will go forward and not hit me. Very hard to prove it came off a truck and if it's in the road then it's a road hazard. Nothing against the 90% of truckers that secure their load but that 10% sure create hazards and think they're untouchable.

Tire and wheel insurance? I'll have to check into that. Would this be for spoke wheels or could you just as easily bend a mag wheel?
