103 cubic inch cylinder heads
ok guys i have a 2007 electra glide standard with the 103 cube screamin eafle pistons cylinders and cams. i am wondering if part # 17072-03 103" cylinder heads will bolt on directly in place of my stock 96" heads. i can get them for a steal or a deal and they are new but not sure if they fit and if they do wheter they will make a huge difference when tuned in properly with my power commander anyway they are 2.080" exhaust valve, 1.623" intake. 10.5 to 1 compression anyone have any ideas i really would appreciate any help as i would love to put a set of heads on these are priced right but if they wont work no sense wasting the cash all he said was they are supposed to fit from 1999 and up but not sure if that only apllies to the 88cube motor. thanks in advance for the help

I think you will run into trouble with compression, check with your dealer or builder to find out exactly which piston you have. Its probably 10.5-1 with your stock heads. The 103 heads have a different chamber and cc size. I think you will loose compression with this head change. You would be better off to find a set of stock heads taken off and send them in for a full port and polish, and change valves,guides etc.
