I have a couple of Police Road kings and have been switching all types of different seats back and fourth.I have a bare bones LePera on my "going to the store bike" but the touring bike has always been a bit different for the long haul. After this and that I am back to the stock police seat but have dropped it back.
Removed the air bladder,The seat support frame has 4 bolts on it I just dropped it back and was able to use the 2 rear holes.that puts the seat back and allows me to sit in the bike instead of on top.I also found some chrome coil springs for under the seat to help give it a new "old style" look.Next I will put up a small back rest and post some pictures.
That a good idea Itch. I have one on my 05 EGC and love it. I installed the quick discounect for the solo seat for my tour pak, and then had to mod. it back 2" for more room.
