Default Yaffe or RSD Bars w/fly by wire

I just had a set of RSD Glider bars installed on my 09 Road Glide. While they look awesome the fly-by-wire throttle action seems to be sticky. I took it back and the tech said its because of the bend in the bar (which to me seems less extreme than the angles on a set of Monkey Bars)...I have a feeling he screwed up & doesn't want to fix his mistake.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or do I push the issue with the dealership?

Thanks!

Did RSD list the bars to fit the 09 RG? If so I think you got some BS or the bars aren't right, One way or the other somebody should make it right.

Its common with new bars and TBW, to get the grip just a hair to far onto the bar. Ask me how I know. Have you tried loosening the swith housing and backing it out a little?

more than likely this is correct -- I have the same bars, the guy that did the install recommended I not run internal wiring due to the size and bend in the bars -- he said it may or may not give me problems but did not want to chance it.

Patsfan, I'll have to try that out. I'll assumed that fixed your issue?
