Default Light Bar

I installed this light bar, just below the lid on my Ultra. It is a STL-069 Optronics trailer tailight. It has turn signal/brake/running. I used the brake/running lights. I bought two 1/2 aluminum spacers and 2 #6 stainless bolts with nuts and washers. I drilled 3 small holes, one of each bolt and one for the wiring to pass through. I sealed the wiring with clear silicone. I connected the wiring to the brake and running light wiring for the lights on the trunk. I have experienced no problems with the LED's. One of the guys I work with said even at two blocks, when I hit the brakes it really lights up. It also helps when I am running my flag carrier, which patially blocks the tailight. I tried to enlarge the pics, but for some reason photobucket says they enlarged, but didn't. Will work on it tonite. Thanks for the comments.

Let me know what you think...

Joe

I ain't seeing a pic. Sometimes it happens to me when I use photobucket for whatever reason their website doesn't always have the damn pic come up. Did you use photobucket?

Nice project and thanks for the description and pictures. Why not post larger pictures? They'll do more justice to your efforts, and provide more information to readers who might want to try the same mod.

You can never have too much rear lighting , and the Ultra makes it easy.
That looks pretty slick.
I went more understated with a Radiantz 14.7" lightbar.
Same idea , just a bit smaller.

Kinda looks stock till it's lit.

Running is fairly bright , but braking is really bright.

Whatever gets you noticed is a great idea.
My wife was a tough sell on the light , but after the install , she was very impressed.

Thanks Bad Pig, I appreciate it! I'm not afraid to express myself, can you tell, hehe.

Yours is slick as a whistle with the bars off. Looks real nice.
