Know what you mean.
I ment 113 as stock. That would be a shocker....

There is already a kit for a 113", so it can be done now. They release the SG in 06, its a big hit, 07 will bring the SE SG and thus they come out with a 113 conversion. All marketing, have to pay those guys to do somthing! Personally need glue on my hands to ride my 95", no need for a 113" here.

Sorry about that, thought you meant as a build.............My bad

Here is one I heard today, "the 07's are going to have the muffler welded to the head pipe to try and prevent after market muffler replacement."

They've been running the 88 for like 6-7 years? Isn't that about the same amount of time they ran the EVO before replacing it with the 88?
Evo production started in '84; TCs hit the street in '99. I'm inclined to believe we'll see the revolution in more of the product line.

I seriously doubt it - when I walk into the dealer here the place is a friggin' G H O S T town bikes backed up their a$$es, the salesmen are all sitting around graba$$ing, smoking and joking. Harley is now being forced to discount their new bikes (instead of the old selling over MSRP from years past) and even that is not working.

I think - other than EPA changes it will be status-quo until things get better if they do....

I don't have a clue what HD has coming for 2007, but this is my speculation of what may happen. The economy getting tougher everyday, fuel prices rising and retail generally sucking every where. What happens if the consumer refuses to buy the new bikes made to suit the EPA. There are tons of late model used HD's on the market. Prices for those bikes could go lots higher. How many of us on this board would buy a new bike if we knew there was no chance in hell we could make any modifications to it. If no mods for 2007's is the case, HD will have to go bigger on engines to satisfy the consumer.

Expect to see a water cooled twin cam, probably sooner than later.

I also heard rumors of an "engine option" from the factory, think 95" and 103"

I agree with Bruce -

Harley will have to make some serious changes to their bikes to compete with metric's who have been doing it for many moons by the EPA rules - I'm afraid Harley will have to start spending the piles of cash they've been stockpiling for years selling old and antiquated technology at astronomical prices... The future is not bright for Harley I'm afraid.

come out west, they go through bikes like butter, charge over retail, 1k for freight and set up, and they sell everything they can get. They are not looking for buyers. I called an Hd dealer in Phoenix while looking for my SG and they wanted 22995 PLUS FEES AND TAX AND TITLE AND FRIEGHT!!!!! I said I can get one OTD for under 21k. He said... GO GET IT THEN I will sell this one this week. Stopped in not to long ago and it was gone.

Dougs Harley Davidson sells their bikes MSRP. You can get one OTD for like 18900 (EFI/Security/color). Then for like 700 bucks you can have it transported...

Thats alot cheaper I think although it might be a little bit of a hassel....
