I'm considering a set. I currently run Sampson rolled thunder mufflers which are just a little too mellow for my tastes. Do the T-rex's have a pop like drag pipes? Do they tone down when you're not on the gas? No one around where I live runs them so could you describe the tone and sound?
I'm really close to ordering these pipes from the PA company on E-bay. Did you guys have any problems on the fit? I'm still a little worried about them being too loud reading about peps waiting for the silencer baffles to hit the market. Right now Im torn between these pipes and the V/H bigshots....I really like the idea of no clamps on the heat shield...I think they look damn good.
WarPiG.....gotta get a pic of my bike for a sig RKC
Received my T-Rex pipes today via UPS. I hope to put them on this weekend, depending on the honey do list.
After I get them on, I'd be happy to record the sound with my digital carma, it records sound. And that might give ya idea, if you want to wait.
Thanx for the link to the Dyno test graph Rhino. Even if the performance such as HP suffer slightly I'm going for sound and looks. I have a stock 2004 RKC, until I have the extra green backs to work on performance....Im not too concerned with it. i'm sure eventually i will be posting some Dyno test results, but right now I dont even know what a PCIII or any of that stuff is LOL...just learning and this forum is great for it.
