Zumo/phone interface
I used to listen to Sirius and since my Zumo already took the AUX port.... I used the FM transmitter in the Sportster and listened to it through the FM radio. I run the antenna on the underside of the handlebar where it didn't show.
I had my Sirrius radio mounted on the left handler but the vibration shook the crap out of the Sportster 5 where it wore out the plugins and the Siruis would shut off when I hit a bump... I have since removed the Sirius and utilized the XM Radio on my Zumo 550.
The only way I know to use 2 devices in the Aux port would to simply have both plugs nearby and alternate between them. I am not aware of any switch for this purpose.
I got a handlebar mount last winter for my Sportster 5 where it vibrated in the cradle wearing the plugins on the bottom until the connections would no longer work. I would hit a bump and the sirius radio would constaintly shut down. I put it back into the cradle in my pickup but had to put a couple of elastic bands around it to keep the connections tight. I plan on replacing it with an XM when the subscription runs out.
This allowed me to run the Zumo audio and mic wires inside the handlebars. I now have TWO aux jacks into the HD radio. I did this mainly because I did not like the look of the audio wire from the Zumo to the front of the radio. Also I thought it could be a safety issue.
The "Aux jack in the back of the HD radio" mod retains the aux jack in the front of the HD radio and keeps it available and active. I ran the Zumo audio wire to the back aux jack (inside the bars) and if I want to connect something to the front aux jack (I.E. iPhone w/Pandora for tunes) the HD radio aux jack is available.
I have heard you CAN NOT use BOTH at the SAME TIME! Doing so will cause damage. So just to be on the safe side I have never tried it.
I will add pics and links if you would like.
Oh boy, it's rhyme time.
All kidding aside (BIG SMILE)
I have the HD part numbers and cost if you are interested in adding a CB to a Road Glide. I will be glad to send it to you.
Here are the basics...
To start, for the 03 RG, you need the H-D radio P/N 76146-04. Be sure it is the model w/CB-intercom. Then you need a completely different Ultra H-D wiring harness. The Ultra radio has four channels so you need two rear speakers on your new tour pack. The new H-D radio requires a constant load on the two back speaker channels. The radio load requirement now keeps the new tour pack from being detachable. Then you can now add a CB antenna to the tour pack. Did I mention the load coil? Then with the simple change of the center tank console you can connect your H-D helmet headset. Sadly, it ain't cheap doing the RG H-D CB upgrade the right way, with genuine HD parts, but I thought it was the cleanest.
Anyway enough rambling, the original purpose I swapped out the HD radio and installed the above related hardware was to have CB.
Oddly enough, the very first time I used the CB was today.
I was riding with folks today and the group got seperated. It wasn't long and the CB was out of range so I called 'em on the bike from the Zumo bluetooth via BOMM. We were able to connect back up within two minutes. Kinda neat being able to use both technologies.
Yes, I think it is even possible to broadcast your bluetooth call to the riders in your group via the CB.
What happened...
Three of us got seperated.
One had a mechanical challenge and two of us stayed until it was corrected. The rest of the group went ahead.
Once the challenge was corrected I called a rider in the group that went ahead. I had the CB on so the other two riders that I was with could hear the phone conversation.
I must admit this Zumo / Bluetooth / BOMM combo came in pretty handy today.
CB is broadcast.
Bluetooth is Point-to-Point.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
No cable in the front...nice and clean.
I have a 2003 bike and the modification is fairly easy and took me about 20 minutes.

Actually, this thread (above) details the mod for the Radio Sound radios.
The newer models have a Harmon Kardon Radio and the "AUX jack in the back" modification is different on HK.
This thread: http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=10044.0 shows how to do the '06 and up Harmon Kardon radios.
The HK radio is a little trickier to work on.
IMHO although it does take a little more effort and energy, it is a HUGE improvement over the the wire in the front for safety and appearance. In the event you do not want to tackle the project. Take the bike to you HD shop have them remove the radio. Take the radio to your local electronics repair shop. Have them do the mod then bring it back to your HD shop to have it put back in. Be sure and run the audio out cable from the Zumo mount under the bars along with your other wiring. In my case I ran the audio and mic wires that go to and from the Zumo inside the handlebars.
More Info...see thread below

Hope this helps.
