Check out my review of a product that will do just what you want. Works great.

Has anybody used the dual version of the BOOM. I was wondering how much the wind noise from the passenger interfers with the mic audio. I know when I use my intercom there is a lot of wind noise from the passenger. I assume that would go out over the phone also??

Default Question about your set up

I have a 2010 FLHX and am considering adding the CB, XM modules. I was told that using the Zumo 660 I could connect to my IPhone 3G. When you use the Bomm, can you get calls when using the radio? Can you use the radio and monitor the CB at the same time or is it one or the other?
Harley does not make an interface for the phone to the helmet mic kit so I am thinking this may be the ticket.

Thanks for your time.

Every now and then something comes around that truly works as described.
I would like to share my experience with you about such a product.

I removed the prior interface that I was using and installed the HD BLUETOOTH BOMM from http://home.comcast.net/~jbissonette1/site/

It arrived within two days of ordering.

SIDE NOTE:
Now I know why they call it a BOMM...I think it looks like a miniature pipe bomb. (GRIN)

Instructions:
http://home.comcast.net/~jbissonette...structions.doc

Installation:
It was a simple installation. Just connect the two wires and the 2.5mm plug that are attached to the BOMM.

Installation Time:
It took me less than 15 minutes.

My Configuration:
Zumo 550, iPhone, stock HD center console and stock HD headset.

The actual device is fairly small and in my case easily fit with no challenges.
In the picture above you can see how small it is in comparison to the 2.5 mm plug.

No switches, no buzzing, no humming, no interference.
Just plain 'ole good clean sound for the caller and receiver.

IMHO - It works GREAT!
Folks that I speak to on the phone don't even know I'm on the bike.
This thing is amazing, inexpensive, crystal clear and easy to install.

I get voice directions from the Z (I like the "Karen the saucy Aussie" voice), MP3 music from the Z, I can use the CB and Bluetooth with my iPhone 3Gs.
All of this audio comes from the Z and the BOMM via the HD radio single AUX input. I do not believe you can use the AM/FM radio setting just the AUX.
Let me elaborate a little. you can use your radio & CB etc. but the bluetooth and all audio output from the Z is only with the HD radio set to AUX input.
The previous post picture shows two wires. One for Z audio out to HD radio AUX in. The second is MIC in for Z Bluetooth to work with the HD headset.

I can do Garmin turn by turn voice directions, MP3 tunes (1000 songs), use and monitor the CB, use the intercom and the Bluetooth phone using the stock HD headset all at the same time.

The BOMM Works for me. Click HERE for more info.
It states on the website listed below that it has been tested with the Garmin Zumo 550, Garmin Zumo 660, Garmin 2820 and Nuvi 660.
Call or email the folks that make the HD BOMM to verify and get more information and the configuration settings to enable all the features.
