Default blinker problem

I experienced blinkers not working today. Its not that clear cut though. The left side stopped working and I got the red key light. The right side worked at that point. Then the right side stopped working but I noticed the 3 leds for the licence plate light are faintly on but the taillight works fine. I checked all conntections, load resisters, light plugs and nothing is loose that makes them turn back on. If you unplug them and plug them back in they work for 1 or 2 blinks. What could be the problem?

Do you have a run/brake/turn module? If so try removing that and see if the problem persists.

Lose the Kuryakyn le's and get a Badlands Illuminator.

+1 to this! Kuryakyn still has alot to catch up in the market on this...while Badlands Illuminator is definitely best in My book! I have it on My bike and they work without an issue! Good Luck on your troubleshooting!

Problem is the load equalizer(s). Kury makes several different LE's, make sure you have the right ones for your bike. Your best longterm solution is to replace with the Badlands Illuminator.

I have the right ones. I don't have security they worked fine for like 6 months and then poof on the highway left light goes out. How does that explain the license plate lights going out?

All of the Kuryakyn load equalizers have issues and they burn out. You said yourself that if you unplug them and plug them back in, they work for a while. That's how long it takes to heat that piece of garbage up. Go here, (http://www.badlandsmotorcycleproducts.com/), and get the Illuminator.
