Default vibration

ok guys heres what i got, 07 glide 96 inch 6 speed k&n rush and pc111 recently it seems to me that there is more vibration than usual . bike runs awesome! under acceleration and deacceleration nothing different, but when cruising if you just barely roll on the throttle you can feel it. Any suggestions where to start looking? I am not into running to the shop every time I think somethins wrong, just concerned after hearing about the cranks scissoring. Guess if thats the problem I'll be doing my first engine build(on a bike that is). Let me know what ya think.

Check to make sure that no part of your exhaust system is touching the frame.

You might also want to check your fairing brackets.

Where are you feeling the vibration (floorboards, handlebars, etc.) and at what RPM? Are you basing the increase on how much the fairing shakes? If so, remove the outer fairing and check the four brackets (two horizontal, two vertical). If any are broken read this. If a vertical bracket is broken don't replace it, repair and fortify it. These brackets are notorious for breaking.

I feel you pain 379.

I have spent many $$$$ trying to find my vibration. It will turn out to be some little bolt not torqued correctly? It may be something as simple as a tire out of balance?

I am going to ride it and enjoy it whether I want to or not

I had a similar situation that turned out to be the exhaust rubbing the rt. floorboard mount. Couldn't believe that it could cause as much vibration as it did. The strange thing is it just started one day, I hadn't changed anything, still can't figure out what moved / shifted / etc.

thats kinda where i'm at just started one day, outta the blue. I have noticed that when idleing (is that right, don't look right but anyway) I can hear the right exhaust rattling back at the mounting bolts under the saddle bag.
