Will that Mustang seat fix on an 06 Deluxe? Who is the contact for Mustang?

I've tried theon my Ultra, rated 1 (best) to 5(worst):
Stock - 4
HD Tallboy seat - 3
Saddleman Road Sofa - 5
Corbin Dual Tour - 1

I would not switch the corbin for anything

I ride an 08 FLHT. I'm 5' 8" and have a 30" inseam on a good day. The stock seat is pretty comfortable but too soft for a long day in the saddle. It also made it hard to put both feet on the ground. But my biggest complaint was that it put the top of the windshield right at eye level.

Went with the HD reach seat which sloved all of the above complaints but it numbs my butt after an hour. Great seat for running errands but I need something for long rides.

So......

I have a Corbin Dual Tour Close on the way. Hope it will be the best of both worlds. I have had several Corbins in the past and always loved them.

I'll report back after I try the Corbin for a while.

09 SG. 35inch inseem. Went from stock to Rallyrunner and put me back and down perfectly but the seat is pretty hard. Planning on sending it to Mean City this winter. Did the Customize your bike feature at HD site to "install" different seats on my bike to see where my assometer would be compared to stock. Try it!

Got my Corbin close on my 08 FLHT and took the afternoon off to test it out. It replaced a Harley reach seat which got me closer to the ground and bars as advertised but was not comfortable for longish rides. The Corbin sets a little higher than the reach seat but it is just as easy to flat foot because the seat is narrower. I think the distance from the bars is just about the same as the reach seat. The seat is firm as all corbins are. This is my 4th corbin so no surprise here. I prefer a nice firm seat for long rides. The corbin is way easier on my butt than the reach seat but for me, the biggest improvement is for my back. It helps me sit up straighter which makes my back much more comfortable. Also, there is much more room for your man parts which were always cramped with the reach seat. This seat isn't cheap but it enables me to actually tour on my touring bike so for me, it's worth every penny. If the wife likes it as much as I do, the reach seat and the OEM seat will be for sale.

I have tried several seats on several different bikes. Corbin is way too hard, everyone indicates it must be ridden and will get better, I guess I couldn't stand the torture for that long.
I like the stock seat on my 07 Street Gilde and have done several 600 + mile days but, I plan to do an Iron Butt Ride and I think I neeed additional padding.
My question is "Does memeory foam hold the heat like gel?"

Thanks

I've got an '07 King Classic with the stock seat, rider and passenger QR backrest. I bought a new HD solo deep bucket Sundowner and then realized I can't have a back rest. I have an old combat related injury in my lower back and if I don't take care, it will drive me up a wall. For those that have had both stock and Mustang seats with back rest on a RK Classic, how would you compare them?

I've done numerous Iron Butt rides over multiple days and my best friend is my AirHawk. If you're doing 600+ now the AirHawk will get you home. I did have my seat done by Mean City but still use the AirHawk and sheepskin.

I have been using the stock seat of my 06 RG until this summer. I bought a Mustang solo seat with backrest. The first thing that I noticed is that it moved me up and forward compared to the stock seat despite the sales guy at Mustang telling me it would sit me a bit lower and further back.
I ordered a Corbin solo seat with backrest and installed it this morning. After a day of riding, I am thoroughly sold on the Corbin even though it isn't broken in yet. It does sit me lower and further back as advertised. The shape of the seat conforms more to my butt where as the Mustang seat is chisel shaped and causes a bit of pinching of the butt after a day of riding in warm to hot weather.
Thought the Corbin is about a hundred bucks more than the Mustang, its worth it if you're going to shell out the money for a quality seat.
