Well I had an Ultimate X on my VTX and it was the best seat I have ever sat on. I now have an H-D Sundowner Deep Bucket that has been customized by Mean City Cycles, these guys are great. I like my seat, but it is still no Ultimate or Mustang. My wife has the Mustang Day Tripper on her bike and she is thrilled about it.
Started with the stock RKC - no way. Let the dealer talk me into a tallboy - really bad seat. Then got a Corbin Classic Solo - thought I wanted something softer. Tried the Mustang for about 500 miles. Now I am back on my Corbin and know it's the seat for my butt.

I'm 5'9 and 29'' inseam.
Will a 08/09 stock Ultra seat fit on my 08 Road Glide/annaversary?
Thanxs guys
Either one will will but you will barely be able to touch the ground with the 09. And the 09 Ultra seat crams your nutz right up on the tank. What a miserable excuse for a seat. Dunno about the 08 Ultra seat though.
