Well, I guess every country has its share of stupid laws. Here's the last one we have to deal with. I live in Quebec, Canada. You know, where we have four seasons. Well, last year, our Goverment decided that from November 15 throught March 15, all motor vehicules (motorcycles included) had to wear winter tires. WINTER TIRES ??????? They don't make winter tires for bikes. Some years, I rode in November, December and even in January. But now, snow or no snow, warm or not, don't take your bike out. It could be 80 degrees outiside it doesn't matter. Went all over the news this year, bikers took their bikes out on Sunday the 14th of March, beautiful day. Boy did they get a ticket. It wasn't the 15 yet. So.................when are the winter tires for bikes coming out LOL.

And if that ain't stupid enough, the Quebec govt. just enacted a law saying that ownership of a sports bike(crotch rocket) is limited to those at least 25 years old with a minimum of 5 years riding experience. They figure this is supposed to cut down on the number of mc accidents in that province. Go figure..........................
Sheesh...it's bad enough the government can dictate what light bulbs you use, what washing machine you can buy, and how many gallons of water you can flush your toilet with, but is anyone surprised that they'd mandate the use of a product that doesn't exist?!
