I just noticed the other day I have a whirring type sound comming from the motor on my 02 E glide. I checked the primary chain and it has about 5/8 to 3/4 inch slack in it when cold. I think thats what it is supposed to be but I never noticed it being that loose when I had my lowrider. Have not changed anything other than going to syn oil.

Whis that was the case, but the other week I had the cam chest cover off looking at the shoes and it is chain drive. But thanks, I'm still looking
