Just had mine in for the 5,000 mile check. I hadn't taken the time (pun) to look in the manual on how to adjust it. So... I had the dealer do it. I told him that it was losing time. As long as we can continue to manually adjust it they'll continue to treat the clock just like the bad batch of alternators they never recalled.
Thats what I'm afraid of. But, just for the sake of it I'm gonna contact the dealer and see what they say, then If I dont like what they say I'm gonna figure out who to contact at Harmon Kardon and ask them why they make crappy factory option equp for HD...and see if I can raise an eyebrow to get a real responce. It seems really trivial to many I'm sure but when you spend what we do you should have a basic expectation that everything should work right......
Well, try not to lose sleep over something that literally takes 10 seconds to reset once a month. It ain't good for you. Nobody buys a Harley for the clock.

Oh trust I aint losing sleep over this. But each and every yr there is a new "problem" with that model albeit some are small such as what I'm speaking and some are large as in major engine problems. And if anyone can get some satisfaction then more the power to them.
If your clock, watch, or whatever doesn't sync with a "time standard" , I don't care how accurate they SAY it is, it won't keep on spot time for long.
My Ultra's clock is no worse than my car's clock or the clock radio on my nightstand. If you have a cell phone, use it's time to set the bike's time. Your cell phone sync's against your carrier network, which in turn syncs against a time standard. My Ultra's clock is the easiest to set of all my motor vehicles.. I normally adjust it two or three times a riding season (8.5 months).
hmm.. last time (no pun intended) I checked, I never look at a clock when I'm on the bike. Who cares what time it is. When you're tired of riding, stop.
