Shade valley also has a complete setup.
You get a tent with mattress and sleeping bags.
So it saves you from lugging all the camping gear around.

And of course the bus is a plus

We go down from Canada every other year and have been staying at the Creekside Campground. Good clean facilities and as quiet as it gets for Sturgis. $15.00/night for tenting. Located between downtown and the Chip, and on the booze bus route so you can bus it downtown or to one of the venues.

You can look into the cabins at No Name they are nice and cheap if you have 4 people or so in them. I also stayed at an elk farm in Custer a few years back and that was pretty cheap if you have a few people go in. Good thing about that was we had 3 rooms and a full kitchen so you save $ on food by going to the grocery store.

check out canyon lake resort in rapid city. Good spot and the rooms were pretty nice and affordable. if you have a few folks to share the cost with that is the best way to keep costs down.

last 4 times weve stayed at chris's campground in spearfish.very nice.showers with 2 handles ,and flush toilets, one year a pizza hut trailer that delivered.think it was 85 a week per couple.
