End Caps???????
The mufflers I have for my bike is 65254-00A and the chrome on the end caps have start to peel off. HD no longer sell the end caps for those size. It is double groove.
I want to know why they no longer sell those since it is nothing to do with EPA.
Why did the chrome peel off of it? It seem too common and the end is billet type.
Have you try different brand of end caps that will fit with HD mufflers?
Is Rush have better quality than what HD use to?

I had a set of the HD screamin eagle pipes with the double groove end caps that peeled off as well. I replaced 3 end caps and then ended up changing pipes and went to Rush pipes. The company that made the original pipes are still out there selling pipes and end caps. Can't remember the name of the company? I think the Rush end caps may fit if you check with the company. The peeling really bugged me. I found my end caps at Cycle Stop HD Rochester NY. I'm sure you could do a search and call them to see if they still have some in stock.
