FLHP cruise control question

FLHP cruise control question
OK as I posted recently I just purchased a 2007 FLHP...I have a question that I couldn't seem to find a specific answer for ...will the Harley cruise control unit work on a Police Model...not so much will it work, as will the handlebar controls mount up correctly seeing as how the Police model has different handlebar controls (the red aux switch) on the throttle side. Any input would be greatly appreciated....

The handlebar switches you currently have will be replaced by the switches supplied in the HD cruise control kit. So you will need to change the passing lamp wiring on the right side, and the horn/hi-lo switch on the left. Not difficult to do.
If you haven't done so already, buy the civilian and police supplement HD Service Manuals for 2007 Touring Models.

Similar problem...
2009 FLHPI
Bike is used for escort duty so all police wiring and switches are still in use.
I spoke with Dave earlier and he will not sell the switches because I do not have a soft tail. Said it would leave him with a system he couldn't use. I asked him if he is selling a system, what does it matter if I have a FLHPI or a Softail.....
Anyway, he is willing to sell me the wiring harness needed but it's up to me to work out switches.
Ideas?
