Yes the chrome bezel fits, it is vitually identical in size and everything.
Also, oil was draining from my plug I pulled out also, so I know it have it in the right spot!

Yeah, I think I paid an extra hour labor for the tech to read the instructions. They wanted $399.
I do all of the preventative (brakes, oil, tire change et al) and cosmetics myself. I don't mind spreading a little money just to keep the warranty on the engine unquestionable, should the time come I need it.
Thinking about installing the Harley Oil Temp guage. Is it a simple plug n play install? From what I gather one wire will be routed to the sending unit. Is there any wire splicing required in the fairing?
Installing the oil temp guage is going to be a winter project. I have the black face guages with the chrome bezel installed. I've read the chrome bezel will fit on the new guage. My question is can you get the air temp guage out without removing the installed chrome bezel? Is there a way to remove the chrome bezel after you remove the air temp guage and reuse it?
