Has anyone else really not experienced the sharp cut off of the light going into a corner? I was out tonight and even on familiar road the twisties are DARK due to 1) the lean of the bike 2) the sharp cut off of the LED light.
I'm running led headlight and LED running lights. Could they be out of adjustment??? Anyone fix this problem, or have a similar bike setup on a Electra Glide that isn't having the cornering problems? Help greatly appreciated.
just bought the bulbs seperate and put them in the origenal lights , no pics from seat at night , can also be seen in daylight good
Exactly the setup I've had on my last two bikes... 90/110 HL and 50W driving lights.... I will say this, after this past summer running the driving lights on a several day trip in the heat, the 50watters have started to actually melt part of the reflector above the bulb.... I'm experimenting with another solution to prevent that for the coming summer... YMMV
been running the first generation and now the second generation of LEDS from truck lite. for the head light and running lites you can pick them up all for around $500.00. i really like them!!!

I have 35 watts in my driving lights , super white with them rewired to stay on with the high beam , never had a problem with heat on any of the bulbs , and have run them a several bikes , new lights with the Dynamic ringz

this seems to be a common problem with the LED headlights I have been reading on here
I just added the Truck-lite Phase 7 headlight to my ultra. I did a comparison with another bike and the aim was way too low with the bulb change on low beam. I readjusted it and seems to work much better now, even in the twisties. I did the passing lamp mod and have the T/L passing lamps coming tomorrow as well. I figure between those always on and the headlight I should be good to go and still pull less amps.

I agree - seeing a lot of people complain about the lights and corners. But somebody has addressed the problem. I can't believe people are riding blind into corners at night. I am not kidding - I damn near slammed a trash can last night. I was less than 8 feet from it before it entered into my light/vision. I have to crawl around corners in my own neighborhood. What is a rider to do on an unfamiliar road? Right now Im so pissed i spent money on these lights and fell for the marketing - which by the way HD only shows the light in video when the bike is straight up; never in a corner.
Geeze...I must be crazy but I installed the Truck Light Phase 7 just yesterday (FLHX) and my GF and I rode around last night. I thought it was really a huge improvement over stock. The GF was even impressed. And the high beams are like the surface of the Sun...
