Seems like americanthunder was later trying to sell or swap this LED headlight (see this thread) and might have gotten into some personal trouble that ended up in a ban.
ETA: Yep - big trouble (this thread). Too bad that sort of chit happens. Maybe Garemlin (Monstermile) tried one of these LED puppies out?

napa auto parts, got one on sale last mo for 199.00, i think current price is 241.00, i went to a ralley this past we, if i had 20 of them i could have sold them all, i only had 5 and sold out fri night, now i dont have any for my other two bikes, i almost sold the one on my bike, but could not part with the best light ive ever had

I work as a lighting technician in the motion picture buisness and use LED lights. The LED's do not throw the light very far, the reflector is going to have to do that. They are bright to look at, but as far as light output at say 100', they are going to fall short of a traditional quartz bulb or even an HID. I have an HID on my bike and like it as far as people seing me, but as far as performance (seeing far ahead), I think the upgraded HD unit is better. JMO
Being in the Army serving in Iraq, we have LED lights on our vehicles, and they are blinding, and light up the road to help in spotting those nasty little IEDs they put out. FYI, there are different purposes to LEDs. Especially now that engineers are pursuing LEDs for headlamps/lights

My buddy just spent $1068.00 on 1 HD LED headlight and 2 passing lamp for his SE Street Glide...I gotta admit, they are amazing and look even more amazing. My next purchase...as soon as I rob a bank!

I just ordered the Bob headlight for my Super Glide Custom, did anyone verify if the frenched trim ring fits with this light? And any long term report would be good before I drop another $200 the OL with be bitching about.

I think Harley is the only one offering it in that size at this time. I assume they take the same size 5 3/4 as my sons Softail Custom which is where I had to order it from. Custom Dynamics does not have this size available yet.
