This is why I don't go near dealers for much of anything. When my tires need replacing (actually need replacing due to wear) I will pull the wheels myself and have an Indy install new tires onto the rims.
Well the dealer just called about the tire. Dunlop says that the area is not a defect or a problem, so the dealer is sending me a refund check and I still have the original tire.
So far, this dealer has been very helpfull and I do not feel like they have taken advantage of me. Unlike some others that I have dealt with.

Good on your dealer, glad to hear they did the right thing
post up the name of the dealer
The dealer is Tilley Harley Davidson in Salisbury, NC. I have dealt with Tommy in sales, Jr. and Frankie in parts and Robin and Bryan in service and have been pleased with all of them.

If you are in the area, stop in and see them.
I might send an email to congratulate them for doing the right thing. We hear of too many dealers who shaft their customers and it's good to hear of one who doesn't. The email address for the service dept. is service@tilleyhd.com.
