Default Disabling Alarm
I have the Smart Siren II installed on my '08 RK. I need to disconnect the battery to install a PCV but of course as soon as I pull the battery the alarm goes off. The Smart Siren contains a power supply so it works if the power is cut or the unit is unplugged so I can't just disconnect it.

Any ideas how to disable the alarm? BTW The service manual is no help.

Default smart siren
Turn the ignition on with the fob in range this disarms the alarm. Then pull the maxi fuse!

No way... It can't be that easy. <crap>

I had succeeded in disabling it during some previous work but it was more of a fluke and I couldn't recall what I had done.
