I have a 2009 eg classic and my seat sucks....Looking to buy a Mustang seat...having talked to alot of riders they give it high marks....I see Harley came out with the Hammock seat and looking for any feedback. If you look at Mustang and Harley seats, Mustang beats them bad on quality...metal pan and rivets...Harley plastic and staples......

Give your seat to these guys here. I've been on Mustangs, better than stock but there are better seats out there. I've been on Corbins, very hard for a long time and their customer service SUCKS BIG TIME!!
While MeanCityCycles.com is very quietly making stock seats extremely comfortable, better than both Corbin and Mustang combined!
Just search for threads about their work, it is Top Shelf work and you will not be disappointed
Agreed on the mods if you like the look of the stock seat but lack the comfort.
Had a (local) guy add an inch of closed-cell high-density (Corbin-like) foam right under the stock foam. Did 2k miles last week without even a hint of monkey-butt.
I bought the Mustang solo seat after talking to them about the rider position. They told me it would sit me down and back a little bit. I presumed they were referrencing their seat in comparison to the stock Road Glide seat. I installed it on the bike and it actually sits about the same height but certainly closer to the tank. I took comparison photos and the photos don't lie. Now they may be referring to the point in the seat where the sitting position meets the back forwar facing surface, but my butt isn't 1" wide and chisel shaped. Anyway, despite this, they still tell me a refund would be minus a restocking fee. I guess they will tell ya anything to sell a seat.
The photo shows an overlay of the two seats. The white line is the outlind of the stock seat. The green line is the Mustang seat. The ruler on the wall behind is to show the pictures are lined up as well as reference points on the bike.
