I want to put E3 tires on both bikes ('08 Ultra, '06 RK). Both have 16" rims. But i am not sure which model of tires to order; {front 150/80-16 or MT90B-16} and for the rear {160/80B-16, or MT90B-16, or MU90B-16}.
I think that the MU/MT version is made for a 3' wide rim, and the 150/160's are made for a 3.5" wide rim. I am not sure the rim width on the 2 bikes, but would assume it is 3".
Any input would help, so I can start shopping around for prices.
Got my tires from Dennis Kirk, delivered for $216.?? two weeks ago. I went with the MT90B-16 front and MU90B-16 rear. Ordered them on Friday and they were on the porch Wednesday...

It's seemed you're a little iffy on tire size reading so maybe I can give quick lecture: Rim width is stamped on the rim and will also tell you if it's "tubeless" or not. If you have a tube-type, get appropriate tube and the liner as they usu. go to sh*t and the mounting process can be rough on an re-used tube. For a tubeless, make sure to order a new valve stem. FYI in shopping: the two types of tires you listed are measured in the Alpha-Numeric and the Metric tire system:
The alpha-numeric type you mention "MT90B-16" is read M for motorcycle, T for tire width code=5.00-5.10 inch (range should match to what is stamped on rim) 90 is the "aspect ratio" or 90% of the width or .90 times 5.00= 4.5 inches, the (-) indicates it is a BIAS tire, and, of course, 16 is the wheel diameter.
The Metric tire size "150/80-16" is read as 150 being the cross sectional width of the tire in millimeters, 80 is again the ASPECT RATIO or 80% of 150mm= 120mm, the (-) once again indicates bias for a 16" rim.
If you know you rim demensions and cross check to what you're ordering you should be OK; I haven't tried the link Olde Skool lists but try there and be sure what you buy! Good luck!
Thanks with the input guys. I found the stamp on the rim ( 16x3.00 D ) on both bikes. So The MT90B-16 is the right tire then and the MU90B-16 for the rear
