I have been running a 200 on my 10 WG for over a year now. No mods fits and looks great.

OP has a Street Bob, its different. Can't go over a 180mm unless you modify the fender completely, was going to do a 200 but opted for a 180 when I found out what a pain it would be to go that big.

Motorcycle tires do not work like car tires. Wider is not always better traction wise on a motorcycle. This is because motorcycle tires have curved treads (cross section profile) to allow cornering and are designed to fit a spec. width rim and the full width of the tread does not contact the road all at once. If you put a tire designed for a wider rim on narrower rim it will "pinch" (curve excessively to fit the rim) and the cross sectional shape will be wrong for optimum grip cornering. The edges of the tread on a pinched tire will be near vertical and not usable (unable to contact the road). Check the tire makers fitment chart (they all have them on their sites) and match your rim width to the optimum rim width the tire manufacturer suggests. The engineers who designed your bike selected the best tire size for the rim after testing. Going to a different size of tire also usually means a decrease in performance in the corners which is where you need traction the most. Radials are WAY better than bias ply tires but do not mix. A lot of tires on the market are still bias ply. A radial on the rear and bias ply on the front will be OK but the other way around will introduce dangerous handling tendencies.

If you want the best grip and wear check out dual compound tires that have a softer rubber compound on the edges (better cornering grip) and a harder compound in the center (longer wear).

One last point, if you take your rim off yourself and take it in to be mounted it is much cheaper.

wide glide has wider rim than street bob,

you need to go to a 5.5" or 6" rim to fit the 200 on the bob.

small mods may or may not be needed for belt or wiring issues.

heaps and heaps of posts here on the forum about 200's search and you will find all you need to know

Just a note:
My 07 Street Bob tires lasted much longer than my
09 Night Train with the 200 on the rear.

Softer compounds are great for riding but don’t last as long.
If that matters anyway.
