Man...that didn't take long!!!.................lol............
Why 17" on the rear if I can ask?? The bike looks great btw..........
Ben
The salesman at a different dealership than I usually go too had this setup on his own personal 09 Road Glide.........and he said if I do the 17" rear, I can go with a 200 tire without any modification. Plus the 17" rear is very close to the height of the stock tire. That keeps the gearing and speedo pretty close.
In fact the one benifit of this rear wheel setup is the speedo is now the same as my GPS........and anyone who has a GPS knows, the Touring bikes speedo has run 3 miles an hour faster for years (speedo says 73 mph - actual is 70 mph)
Plus I think guys do the 18 rear thinking they will see the rim better. It's not enough for me to change the gearing and speedo.
Yes I have ABS, it should work fine. I haven't tried it out since the change to a 21".
I don't think of anything negative except for the seat height increase. That can be helped by lowering the front end. I may wait until winter to do that.
Awesome. Those wheels really look sharp. How about a photo from the back giving us a look at the 200 tire back there. Sweet. Now, where's my wish list for my OL? Heeeeee hee heeeeee.
