I am painting some parts, the factory Demin Flat Black (it's a ppg color, but HD wont release the paint codes and make-up).

We all know that the denim color is softer than butter in the sun, and as i am painting some parts, PPG makes ad additive called DX57, which is a base coat Activator and is supposed to provide additional hardness to the paint.

has anyone sprayed with this stuff? Are there any changes with paint? (ie will the dx57 make the paint shiny?)
