I'm at 6/32 with 5,500 miles on the clock. This will easily go over 10K miles.

I just replaced a rear D407 on my 09SG yesterday at 11,900 miles. Im sure I could have gotten a minimum of 3000 miles more out of it if it, but last Friday something must have went in and out of it cause the dreaded slow leak was apparent when I checked my pressure Sat morning. Gotta love the 407's!

With lots of 2-up riding and luggage, I got about 9000 miles out of the stock Dunlops. I have a Dunlop E3 on the rear now and hope to do a little better.

Changed the first one at 6k, still had tread but I was going on a trip. Second one at 12k, it would not pass PA state inspection. I'm a big un and ride 2 up often, not shy with the throttle either.

I just had my stock Dunlop changed yesterday at 12,700 miles and it still had pretty good tread left. I'm leaving in a week for a trip to ROT Rally in Austin (est. 2500 miles) so I wanted to be safe and not push it. If I were staying around town I would have ridden it longer.

I got about 15k off my original stock rear tire and have 12k on my current one with plenty of tread left.

14,757 on my stock 07 EGC. Probably a couple thousand around town miles on it still.

Arrow slicks on the rear...

I've gotten nearly 13,000 on the (rear) stocker but it gonna get changed next week. I'm thinking a Metezelor because that's been a great tire(s) on my FatBoy. I'd never go back to oem's.

I don't do many burnouts, but now is the time!

I average about 8,500 miles on the rear and change the front every other time I replace a rear. That's mostly 2up riding on twisty country roads. There's a lot of chip seal in this part of the world which is just a step above riding on gravel.
