Do those guys reall do that great of a job? Is it a night and day difference? I was thinking about doing that 140.00 deal double stacker foam job. Let me know what you guys think?
Tom here from http://harleygoodies.com/ I modded my seat myself and it is so much more comfortable it is not even funny. I used an electric carving knife and trimmed a lot off of the stock foam. Put some new softer foam over it and voila, it is perfect. From the reviews I have read of Allen's work on here in the several years I have been around, I don't ever recall hearing anything negative.
I just got back form Meancitycycle. I did a trail run to see if I could find them. I live about 30 Min. away. I got to talk about my seat before making an appointment. They have 3 different firmness of memory foam. I was glad I got to feel of these before making a decision. This is a small business and was amazed at how neat and clean the shop was. This is what I look for. A clean shop usually means good work. These guys are bikers so I'm sure they understand our needs. Can't wait till next week to get my mod. done. I'm doing a ride in. The only thing I had to do was make a deposit when making an appointment. I too have heard more positive than negative.

Had them do my SG seat a while back. First off, they were some of the easiest people to deal with; courteous and proffessional. Turn around time was excellent and most importantly they did a great job. I just got a bit over a thousand miles on the seat so it's well broke in which, I guess, would make this the "official" review. Looks good and rides good, would recomend them to anyone
I tried them because of all the great reviews on this forum. I sent in a sundowner seat to be modified and it was the worse seat I have ever used. The butt was numb after 45 minutes. Their service is great and they were willing to work on it again. I sent it back for a third time and it's better, but I'm still receiving pain under my left leg. I only weight 145 lbs. so I know I'm not to big. I'm done working with the company. I've spent nearly $100 in shipping. I know others have had good luck with MCC, but I was one of the lucking ones.
